Here’s how you can become Apple Search Ads certified:

  • Review all eight lessons. Take as much time as you need to complete each lesson. Your progress will be saved. Each lesson concludes with a set of review questions and a summary of the key things to remember. Topics include:

    2. Choose keywords.
      Add effective keywords to campaigns, then use Search Match and recommendations for ongoing discovery.
    3. Structure your account.
      Simplify campaign performance measurement and optimisation by strategically organising keywords.
    4. Manage your budget.
      Set and adjust campaign budgets, control spend with a daily cap and improve decision-making with bid insights.
    5. Showcase your creative.
      Understand App Store product page optimisation and how to use Creative Sets to run ad variations.
    6. Create campaigns.
      Get a step-by-step walkthrough of the campaign creation process with details on settings and audience refinements.
    7. Manage campaigns.
      Access rich data within your campaign dashboards and use powerful tools and settings to meet your goals.
    8. Maximise insights.
      View conversion data, re-engage previous customers and measure attribution with our API or a provider’s help.
  • Take the 50-question exam. Your progress can’t be saved. Allow yourself enough time to complete the exam in one session.
  • Get a score of 80 per cent or higher. If you score less than 80 per cent, you’ll need to resubmit answers to the questions you answered incorrectly. You can also retake the exam as many times as you need to.

On average, it takes about an hour and a half to become certified.

After you've passed the exam, you’ll receive your certificate that confirms you’ve successfully completed Certification and demonstrated your app marketing proficiency.
