If you don’t see your app as an option to promote

There are several reasons why you may not be able to see your app as an option to promote with Apple Search Ads Basic:

Your app isn’t in the selected App Store Connect account.

If you have multiple App Store Connect accounts, you can link each account to Apple Search Ads. This lets you promote more apps.

You can link App Store Connect accounts when you first create an Apple Search Ads Basic account, and you can add or remove accounts any time by clicking Linked Accounts in the upper-right corner of your dashboard.

Please note that the App Store Connect Legal Account Holder, App Manager, Admin or Marketer must hold either the Account Admin or Group Manager role to link the App Store Connect account to Apple Search Ads.

Your app is new to the App Store.

It can take up to 24 hours for your app to appear on the App Store.

Your app can’t be promoted with Apple Search Ads.

Your app might be in violation of one or more of the Apple Search Ads Advertising Content Policies. It’s also possible that your app isn’t compliant with App Store Review Guidelines. Please review the policies; if you have any further questions, contact us.

Your app must be available on the App Store in the country or region where you want to promote it.

You may be eligible to use Apple Search Ads Basic if you currently have an app for iPhone or iPad on the App Store in the available countries and regions.

Your app name contains a special character.

If your app name contains an accented letter or another unique character, make sure to include it consistently to ensure your app name appears as an option to promote. To type an alternative version of a character, press and hold the key until its alternative characters are displayed. Then either click the one you want to use or type the number that appears underneath.
