Monthly invoicing
Who qualifies for an Apple Search Ads line of credit
Some Apple Search Ads Advanced advertisers that meet certain criteria may be approved for an Apple line of credit. We can’t disclose the criteria required, but if your account is eligible, an Apple Search Ads client partner will contact you directly. If you’re approved for a line of credit, your account will receive a monthly billing summary and separate invoices for accrued campaign costs — the actual spend for the billing period. Payment remittance will be reflected on the monthly invoice and you can include P.O. numbers on invoice payments.
Note that line of credit funding isn’t available in some locations.
If you have an Apple Search Ads client partner, you can contact them for more details on lines of credit. If you’d like to start a campaign in the meantime, use a credit or debit card as your payment method.

- Go to the Billing tab.
- Find the Billing Summaries section toward the bottom of the page.
- To search for a specific billing period, select the dates in the Billing Period menu.

How budget orders work
Budget orders are available to invoiced Apple Search Ads Advanced customers only. They work in addition to your daily budget to help you control costs. With a budget order, you can cap your total spend across campaigns in a campaign group, over a specified period of time, so you never exceed your total budget. This is especially useful if you or your clients have a set budget for app promotion efforts.
Pre-approved advertisers who are paying via monthly invoicing may also consolidate campaign invoices with budget orders. It simplifies campaign management for you, because at the end of the month, all campaigns tied to the same budget order appear on the same invoice.

Considerations for working with budget orders
-
We recommend creating budget orders for specific periods of time such as one month or one quarter.
-
If you prefer monthly invoices, we recommend setting up multiple budget orders by month and linking each of them with the appropriate campaign group. For linked campaigns to continue running when a budget order expires, another budget order needs to be in place.
-
You can’t start a budget order on the same day it’s created.
-
End dates are optional and can’t overlap with start dates. If you attempt to overlap dates, you won’t be able to link the second budget order to the desired campaign group.
-
We strongly recommend including internal billing identifiers that are required on your invoices, such as purchase order (P.O.) numbers, in the Order Number field of your budget order.
-
As part of budget order setup, use the Contact Info section to add team members who should receive invoicing for your campaigns. These might be client contacts who need invoices to reconcile billing. Whoever you add will receive invoices in addition to the billing contact set up for your Apple Search Ads account.
-
Budget order amounts can’t be decreased.
-
If you don’t have a budget order, you can still consolidate your invoices by the campaign order number.
